Our very own, Kevin Hardges, was awarded the Top Graduate Student Paper at the 87th Annual Ohio Communication Association Conference, (OCAC), at Kent State University-Stark in North Canton, Ohio.
The OCA is one of the oldest state associations of communication in the country. Every year, the OCA hosts a conference where selected graduate students are awarded and present their research.
This year’s conference theme was “Sparking Change with Communication” which is exactly what Kevin did.
Kevin’s research paper is titled “Managing the Issue of Corporate Responsibility to Racial Justice.” It is a case study on PepsiCo’s Racial Equality Journey-Black Initiative. Kevin’s exceptional skills are just one of the many things that set him apart.
Kevin is a communication professional and researcher with a decade of experience in communication research, strategic communication, and social media management. Kevin received his Bachelor’s in Speech Communication and a master’s in public relations and organizational communication, both from Wayne State University.
Currently, he is a manager at 98Forward, and pursuing his doctoral degree in communication at Wayne State University.
Kevin continues to amaze us with his writing and analytical abilities. He is a hard-working professional and his efforts do not go unnoticed. Congratulations, Kevin!
